Arealer VR SKY: augmented reality viewer with Android 5.1

VR Area SKY is a viewer for augmented reality in 3D that, to work, does not need any smartphone, as it is equipped with its own operating system and hardware components not bad.


Arealer VR SKY features

The VR SKY SO is called Nibiru and is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop; it is compatible with most applications, games and videos made for VR. It has an Allwinner H8 Octa-Core Cortex-A7 processor with frequency up to 2.0GHz, while the GPU is a PowerVR SGX544 with maximum frequency @700MHz.

The RAM is from 2 GB and the internal memory from 16 GB, expandable via microSD. In addition to the memory card slot, there are also 3.5 mm jacks, a USB port and a mini USB, which also work as OTG. Finally there is Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi.

The included battery has a capacity of 4000 mAh and supports fast charging thanks to the 2A battery charger. VR SKY is equipped with accelerometer and gyroscope to take advantage of the 360 ° view, compatible with YouTube and third-party application.

The lenses are mounted aspherical to offer a view without distortion, the maximum resolution is instead to 1920 x 1080 pixel with a maximum of 70 FPS. The dimensions of the display are 19.0 x 12.0 x 9.0 cm, for a total weight of 412 grams.
