The GPU is in fact a Mali400 multicore developed by ARM with support for OpenGL 2.0 and with 2D and 3D acceleration (resolution up to 1080p), already adopted by Samsung in the Galaxy S3. The MediaTek CPU, despite being a quadcore, is based on the Cortex A7, an architecture that is not quite recent but which still manages to obtain decent performance with excellent energy consumption.

At this price there are few competitors, especially if we consider the offer of physical stores where it is not uncommon to find phablet with 1GB of ram (sometimes even less) at a much higher price than Cubot S100's 350 €. There camera from well 13Mpx rear and of 8Mpx the front one makes this Android device an interesting alternative compared to the most famous Mediacom or Brondi that however hardly equal a value for money like this, don't miss it.
