Elephone P9000 is the new smartphone (or rather phablet) home Elephone, a Chinese company probably still little known, but with quite cheap and functional terminals, as we have already seen in review of Elephone P7000.
Elephone P9000 is a device that lacks nothing, and is launched on the market in three different models; to the classic Elephone P9000 the variants are added lite ed Edge. The differences between the three models are few and mostly concern the photographic sector and the absence of the fingerprint reader on the lite version, also do not be fooled by the model Edge, as it has nothing to do with the Home Edge models Samsung.
Elephone P9000 features
The processor mounted by Elephone P9000 is the Mediatek Helio P10 - Also known as MTK6755 - with 64 bit architecture, Octa Core and @2.0GHz frequency. The GPU is ARM Mali-T860 and to manage multitasking we find well 4 GB di RAM. The latest version of the green robot is to move around, that is Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The internal memory is of 32 GB (26 available) on the classic and lite model, while the Edge version is even equipped with 64 GB. All models have the micro SD slot, supported up to 128 GB. The display has a diagonal of 5.5 ″, with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, 400 PPI, viewing angle up to 178 ° and technology LTPS OGS. The frame on the sides of the display is barely visible 1.6mm in the classic and lite model, while the Edge model will have a slightly curved display (2.5D), to give the effect borderless.
Elephone P9000 camera
The three models differ more for the mounted cameras. Starting from the lite model, we find an 5 MP in the front and an 13 MP on the rear with a sensor OV13850, autofocus and dual color tone LED flash.
Elephone P9000 instead features a more advanced camera than the lite model; for selfies we have a sensor 8.0MP OV8858, while on the back we find a sensor Sony IMX258 da 13 MP and opening f / 2.0, with the addition ofautofocus laser.
Finally, Elephone P9000 Edge has the same features as the classic model with the difference of the rear camera sensor, which mounts a Sony IMX230 a 21 MP.
The battery has a capacity of 3000 mAh and, according to Elephone, can be fully charged in just 70 minutes, Thanks to Quick charge and to the charger from A 2.5 a 9 V. As for the rest of the features, I anticipated that nothing was missing, and it is exactly like this: WiFi 802.11 a / b / g / n, BT 4.0, NFC, OTG Type-C, LED notifications, dual micro SIM 4G with 800 frequency MHz, GPS, A-GPS, accelerometer, fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, etc. Finally the dimensions are contained and well optimized: 14.84 x 7.32 x 0.73 cm and a total of just 160 grams for Elephone P9000.
In short, on paper Elephone P9000 it's really a great device, but unfortunately the Edge model is not yet available and will be launched in the coming months. If you are interested in buying, at the moment the lowest price is 208 € for the Lite version e 255.70 € for Elephone P9000 standard, on GearBest.
