Google launches a new service against DDoS attacks called "Project Shield"

Google has presented a new suite of website tools, including tools to bypass web censorship. But the new project received the greatest attention Project Shield, a free tool to protect yourself against DDoS attacks.

The new service will be located on Pagespeed, the google service that allows you to test the loading speed of your website. Project Schield should therefore protect the site from all DDoS attacks unless it is a powerful attack. It could therefore be compared to CloudFlare but for smaller sites.

Other tools released are Digital Attack Map, to see global attacks, e uProxy which allows users in countries subject to censorship to surf the Internet through piggybacking.
