The new records of Xiaomi

The Chinese brand Xiaomi (it reads "Sciaomi") is doing a lot of talking about itself. By selling terminals with high-end features at a very low price compared to the competition, Xiaomi is reaching increasingly surprising figures, despite being on the market not even 3 years!

Thanks to what is published on the English forum of Xiaomi, we can see the sales that increase exponentially. Until the beginning of September, 2013 had been sold well 9.19 million Xiaomi mi2, sum that exceeded i 10 million already in the middle of the same month, bringing a gain of over 3.3 million of dollars via Xiaomi App Market only in August 2013.

In fact, Xiaomi's policy is to sell devices at a competitive price, but gaining through the Internet services offered. And it seems to be succeeding well, just think that every day they are loaded about 11 million of photos on the MiCloud and that quota has been reached 1 billion download between apps and games from the same Xiaomi App Market. Thus Xiaomi was evaluated for a value of 10 million of dollars.

To increase sales, in addition to the terminals present, the brand new Xiaomi Mi3, Xiaomi MiTV and Xiaomi HongMi (also known as Red Rice) were added. The latter with a mid-range hardware (1 GB of RAM, 1,5 Ghz quad core processor and 4,7 display ″ to name a few features), but sold at around 100 of our euros, broke the 100,000 sales in just over 2 minutes, thus surpassing even Apple which held the record of 45,000 terminals sold at the same time. Unfortunately for us it will not be available, as well as the MiTV (at least for now), the TV branded Xiaomi with processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 600! Yes, a processor that we find on many smartphones like S4 or HTC One, but it seems to offer high performance on the MiTV without any lag.
