LEAGOO M5 is a new smartphone that is very cheap and interesting in many ways, such as - for example - the operating system Android 6.0 and the ultra-rapid fingerprint sensor.
LEAGOO M5 has an MTK6580A Quad Core CPU with a maximum frequency of 1.3 GHz, while the RAM is 2 GB. The internal memory is instead 16 GB, expandable via microSD up to 128 GB.
The display is from 5 ″ with resolution to 1280 x 720 pixels for a total of 294 dots per inch. It adopts 2.5D technology for edge bending and is protected by Gorilla Glass 4. Despite the very affordable price, the photographic compartment of this smartphone is not bad at all: it is equipped with an 5 MP camera for the front and 8 MP camera, with flash, on the back.
Below the latter is the fingerprint sensor to unlock the device and to protect apps from prying eyes. The peculiarity of the sensor is the reading speed of just 0.19 seconds, and is able to recognize the 360 ° footprint.
M5 is equipped with all standard sensors such as accelerometer, brightness, etc; it's a dual SIM smartphone but unfortunately without support for 4G networks. Obviously there is no lack of Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS.
The battery is removable and has a capacity of 2300 mAh. The materials used for the construction of this terminal are metal at the edges and plastic in the back, while the glass in Gorilla Glass 4 guarantees high impact resistance as shown in the following video.
The dimensions of LEAGOO M5 are 14.2 x 7.1 x 0.87 cm for a weight of about 180 grams. It is available in gold, white or gray and is on presale at 54 Euros until July 24 on TomTop. Shipping is free and 5 will start on August.
