Microsoft wants Windows phone in dualboot with Android on the HTC

Thanks to the guys from Android central, we learn that Microsoft intends to install its mobile operating system in dualboot with Android: Terry Myerson, head of the Microsoft operating systems unit, has announced that he is planning a visit to Taiwan to meet HTC executives and advance the big proposal, which could include cutting licensing costs to incentivize the use of windows phones as the second default operating system installed on HTC phones.

HTC is evaluating the possible engineering costs to realize all this, but it is not yet known how the average user who will be faced with 2 completely different operating systems or the possible counter-moves of Google could react.

just today HTC released the unaudited data for the third quarter of 2013, in which it recorded gross losses of $ 101 million, is this really the way to steal market share from Samsung?
