Having separated from Xiaomi, Redmi had launched her famous smartphones Notes 7 e Note 7 Pro, but just yesterday, the general manager of the company stated that they are already working at the exit of the Redmi Note 8.
The vice president of Xiaomi and general manager of Redmi, Lu Weibing, stated that the Note 8 will be by far more powerful than its predecessors and will most likely be the first smartphone in the company to be powered by the chipset Mediatek Helio G90T. Moreover, as we said a few days ago here, Redmi is also working on one smartphone with 64 megapixel camera, it is therefore expected that the same technology will also be used on Redmi Note 8.
A SoC Gaming for the new Redmi Note 8
Returning to the Helio G90T chipset, we know that it is the gaming version, the most powerful and advanced of the two processors officially presented just a few days ago. It has 8 processors: Dual Core Cortex A76 clocked at 2,05 GHz and 6 Core Cortex A55 clocked at 2 GHz. It also has an ARM Mali G76 3EEMC4 GPU clocked at 800 MHz and supports up to 10 GB of RAM and UFS 2.1 and eMMC 5.1 memory. The processor will also have support for theHyper-Gaming, a modem: Cat 12 LTE WorldMode and also Bluetooth 5.0. Finally, there is no lack of support for the display with update frequency a 90Hz and AI features for the camera.
In all this, Xiaomi organized an event on 7 August right in China, in relation to the fact that the next smartphone with 64 megapixel camera will be presented. So, most likely, Note 8 will be mentioned and then presented to the general public in the following months.
