The event held today in China did not stop with the presentation of Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and Note Pro, indeed - how it was rumored - Redmi also presented its first Smart TV, or better the Redmi TV, and a new Notebook: the RedmiBook 14 Enhanced Version.

As you will remember, the first RedmiBook 14 was presented a few months ago, exactly the 28 May. And today's laptop is nothing but an improved version; and for this reason it takes the name of Enhanced Version. But what changes between the old RedmiBook 14 and the new Redmibook 14 Enhanced Version?
The previous model was presented with an Intel 8th generation CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU. In the Enhanched version presented today we find the new processors of tenth generation Intel Core Comet Lake.
The basic and intermediate versions of the 14 Enhanched RedmiBook will mount the new processor Intel Core i5-10210U, composed of 4 core, 8 thread and 6MB cache with minimum frequency at 1.6GHz, 3.9GHz in turbo boost (multi-core) and 4.2GHz in single-core turbo boost.
The top model will be equipped instead with Intel Core CPU i7-10510U with 8MB cache and base frequency @1.8GHz, 4.9GHz turbo boost in Single-Core, 4.3GHz multi core.
The rest of the hardware remains unchanged: 14 diagonal display ″, GeForce MX250 video card, 6 or 8GB RAM and memory cuts from 256 or 512GB SSD. The price also remains low and starts from just 506 euro (at current exchange rates) for the model basis!

La Redmi TV it is certainly among the most interesting news of today. We are talking about a real jewel of technology with a low price in Xiaomi and Redmi style. This is a Smart TV with a display from 70 inches 4k HDR a less than 500 euros.
Inside an Amlogic processor with @1.5GHz frequency, a Mali-450 MP3 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, all managed by PatchWall, the graphical interface adopted by Xiaomi on its own TVs. On the connectivity side, Redmi TV is equipped with 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n / ac. Finally there is support for Dolby Audio and DTS-HD.
No word yet on whether Redmi TV will reach our market, but if it follows the path of Xiaomi TVs we will probably never see it.
