First Tizen tablet released (only for developers)

La Systena Corporation, a leading Japanese company for IT solutionscloud services, launched today first Tizen tablet, an operating system for mobile devices based on linux (as well as android). The tablet with Tizen (still under development) will be available for developers, so that they can help speed up development, create applications, etc.

The tablet, with Tizen 2.1, will be available in 2 colors, red and white, and mounts hardware comparable to today's tablet medium-high band:

  • CPU ARM Cortex-A9 quadcore from 1,4 Ghz
  • 2 GB of RAM DDR3
  • 10.1 ″ WUXGA display with 1900 resolution × 1200 pixel
  • Rear camera from 2 MP, front from 0.3
  • 32 GB of ROM expandable via microSD

Systena will provide assistance to developers who have purchased the tablet and to enthusiasts on their own place (removed).
I leave you with the demo video made last July, in which Tizen 2.0 is tested
