If you are a geek who often changes ROMs, now there's something new! ROM Installer, a new application recently available on the Play Store that allows the installation of ROMs (and not only) directly from the application.
Let's take a quick look at the application (follow us for a more in-depth review in the next articles).
Rom Installer, which needs the ROOT permits, find the most popular ROMs, such as AOKP, CyanogenMod, Paranoid Android, Carbon, MIUI and others compatible with the device in use. Obviously the available roms will vary from device to device depending on the official port, in my case with Xiaomi Mi2 only the MIUI is found, since the existing ports, like Android 4.3 stock and CianogenMod 10.2, are not official.
ROM Installer, however, does not only facilitate the installation of a ROM, but also offers many interesting features, such as Backup, Wipe, Nandroid Backup, update of the recovery (both CWM and TWRP), receive notifications of new updates for installed roms and integrated access to Goo Manager in addition to links to Gapps, fonts and the various communities and tools (as in the photo).
At the moment the application is in beta and it's free, apart from some features we can unlock with one of the three upgrades available: BASIC for $ 1,50, PREMIUM for $ 2.99 and GOLD for $ 4.99.
Now how will you install the ROMs? will you still use the old methods or will you use this new application?
