UMi Z was the first smartphone to mount the Mediatek Helio X27 CPU and it is a smartphone with a large display and good quality hardware at a price, however, for what it offers. The price is usually between 230 and 260 Euro, but today it is offered at 216 euros from TomTop in limited stock.

UMi Z's Helio X27 SoC has an 64-bit architecture and is a Deca Core CPU with maximum frequency @2.6GHz, divided as follows: 2 ARM Cortex-A72 @2.6GHz, 4 ARM Cortex-A53 @2.0GHz and 4 ARM Cortex A-53 @1.6GHz. The GPU is a Mali-T880 MP4 with frequency @875MHz, while the RAM is from 4 GB.
UMi Z adopts a memory cut from 32GB, to which we can add further 256 GB via micro SD. To mount the micro SD, however, we will have to give up one of the SIMs as happens on many other smartphones. In fact UMi Z is a dual nano SIM device, both with 4G support for 20 bandwidth, therefore there will not be any kind of problem with any operator.
The display of UMi Z has a diagonal from 5.7 ″ with resolution to 1980 x 1020 pixel. It is a panel IGZO with 2.5D curvature at the edges. As for the operating system, on UMi Z we find Android 6 stock with Italian language and Play Store, but in the future will receive the update ad Android 7 Nougat via OTA.
The interesting part of this smartphone certainly concerns the camera. UMi Z, on the back, has a 13 MP camera with laser autofocus, PDAF and 4 LED flash color tone. Also on the front we find a good 13 MP sensor with Flash, ideal for selfies in the dark.
The battery is from 3780 mAh and is not removable since UMi Z is a Unibody aluminum alloy smartphone. However, fast recharging is supported which in about 120 minutes will take the battery percentage from 0 to 100. On the front of the smartphone, below, we have a quick fingerprint sensor. VoLTE, notification LEDs, OTG via Type C and WiFi dual band are not missing; the audio is HiFi.
UMi Z measures 15.5 x 7.5 x 0.88 cm and weighs about 180 grams. It is available in gray or gold and the latter color is now on offer a 216 Euro with free shipping.
