Yesterday the new version of was released Unreal Engine, the graphic engine that gave birth to Unreal, one of the best-known first-person shooters. Specifically, Unreal Engine has been brought to the version 4.1 and among the novelties of this release what is really interesting is the support for Linux and SteamOS, in addition to the one for Xbox One and PlayStation 4
For now, deploying projects to Linux requires compiling source from GitHub using a Windows computer.
This is reported on the blog. Although support for Linux has been added, Windows still needs to compile the sources. However it is a step forward, a news that will surely make happy gaming enthusiasts who do not want to give up their own penguin!
New features have also been added for Android, iOS and Mac; in the editor, gameplay and all the rest; in addition to numerous fixes.
