Within two years the design of smartphones has changed radically. The edges of the display have been replaced by smaller and smaller edges, and the front edge has completely disappeared to make notch appear, in various forms, or pop-up camera systems. Today, Xiaomi it delights us with a new patent that could perhaps anticipate a new trend in smartphone design of the future.

The various companies have always been active in creating new designs that can always catch as many users as possible. The company of Lei Jun has always been a very active company in proposing innovative designs that can change the way we see the device. In fact, a new patent could anticipate a smartphone with an almost futuristic design.
The patent photos show us a very interesting project designed by Chinese engineers. In fact it seems to have been thought of, e already implemented a smartphone completely devoid of notch or mechanism to make the camera appear. The front camera sensor, in fact, would be positioned under the display, thus leaving the front part of the device completely dedicated to the panel. The front camera, positioned in the display as if it were a fingerprint sensor for screens AMOLED, then, it would have a type of mechanism that would allow it to be visible only in the moment of need.

The video in fact shows 2 smartphone in comparison, what would seem a Xiaomi Mi 9 and a new curious smartphone without notch or retractable cameras, take a selfie with ease.
Obviously it could still take some time before seeing this design on a smartphone on the market, but this video has a lot of curiosity for us and we can't wait to learn more about this camera under the display!
