Youtube does not upload videos with Chromium [Ubuntu 12.04 +]

In recent weeks I have encountered some problems browsing Youtube with the Chromium browser (opensource web browser from which Google Chrome derives): most of the videos displayed the error message "video not found try again later"With an analogue TV style screen without signal, opening the same video from another browser instead, it worked without any problem.

I initially suspected a problem with the Flash plugin so after several tests and with the persistence of the problem it occurred to me that Chromium unlike other browsers uses integrated Codecs and not those installed in the system; looking on the net I found confirmation that the problem is caused precisely by codec, however the solution is very simple, it is a matter of replacing the default ones used by chrome with those contained in another package, translating all this into the terminal:

sudo apt-get remove chromium-codecs-ffmpeg

now we install the new codecs with:

sudo apt-get install chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra

after restarting the browser I solved, now I can view videos on youtube without any problem: if you also encounter the same problem you can easily try to solve it with this solution.
